Wizards of the Coast - Very Young Brass Dragon

Equus on Cool Mini sent me the Dragons II box set as part of our mini exchange project. This was one of the miniatures from that box set. I used the brass dragon paintings in the Draconomicon as the basis for the colour scheme. Brass dragons are desert dwellers, so I painted him to look like his thin, membranous wings are against a backdrop of a hot desert skyline. I also tried to reflect some of the blue in the scales of the dragon. I used quite a few different yellows and mixed these with some browns and khakis to get the contrast between the different parts of the dragon's hide. The base was designed as a simple semi-arid setting, the plinth was provided by Klute (also from CMON).
