Guin close up

This is a very large model of Guin. The character is meant to be a man trapped in a leopard-headed mask who doesn't remember who he is. Considering the fact that I love werecreatures, I decided to make him more leopard than man by adding a lovely long tail. I decided to paint him as a snow leopard, rather than a regular leopard and to keep his legs as the were. I didn't want to risk messing up a very expensive resin kit by re-sculpting the legs to be digitigrade (i.e. like a real cat). I painted him many years ago, and it shows!

Full shot of Guin

The pose makes him look as if he is attacking something, so I created a creature based on a "maggot" from Rifts for him to fight. The Maggot is made out of milliput. The right side of Guin's face had to be re-sculpted because there was a huge chunk missing where an air bubble was during casting.
