Wolfen Devourer Nekhar the Exstatic

This is a the second Devourer I've painted and as I'm considering getting a devourer army together I decided I wanted to take a different tack with this one. So in contrast to my wolfen who are painted as if they have fur, I have painted this one naked, using a bit of purple to give the flesh a sickly look. Also in contrast to my wolfen, all of the metallics have been painted using real metallic paint, washed with some tamiya clear colours to give them some depth and provide a rusted look in some parts. This was done to try and give them a grungier feel, a more industrial look. Also to convey the violent nature of the devourer, I have added some spilled guts on the paved floor as well as some blood to the sword. He was a joy to paint! "Mmm..sausages"! ;^)
